Biography
Peter Corrigan is a skilled composer specialising in contemporary cinematic music for film, television, web, and radio. Notable clients include Telstra, Nintendo and Samsung; Peter has also composed and performed music with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and numerous chamber orchestras.
An alumnus of New York University, he studied film composition in 2018 with Mark Snow, Nathan Barr, and Mac Quayle. In 2021, he furthered his education at Berklee College of Music, focusing on video game music.
His television credits include Tough Jobs (2018, ABC) and Regular Old Bogan (2020, 7Mate), where he also served as a consulting producer.
In 2024, he was commissioned to compose an immersive soundscape for the National Gallery of Victoria's 2024 Melbourne Winter Masterpieces® PHARAOH exhibition, the first commission of its kind anywhere in the world.
Additionally, Peter has performed as a keyboardist and vocalist in various bands across Australia and internationally, including music festivals in the USA, Canada, Singapore, and the Philippines.
